Columbus, Ohio – FST Logistics, a leading temperature-controlled transportation and warehouse solutions provider headquartered in Franklin County, signed the Columbus Commitment this week to ensure pay equity for all employees.

The Columbus Commitment is a voluntary, employer-led initiative to close the gender wage gap in Columbus through the City of Columbus and Columbus Women’s Commission. This initiative promotes innovation to address gender- and race-based pay inequalities.

Over the past year, FST Logistics reviewed its compensation strategy for all employees in an effort to create defined pay that aligned with job descriptions, roles, responsibilities and to help avoid pay inequity. This exercise also provided better visibility to employees to demonstrate career growth and development opportunities within the organization.

“We know that in the Columbus-area there are inequities in racial and gender pay, and we want to do our part to make sure that our employees are compensated fairly and accurately for work performed,” said Jill Kuhlman, Chief Administrative Officer for FST Logistics. “Through a comprehensive review of our compensation strategy, we are working to close the pay gap among those working in Franklin County.”
